MACKINTOSH ROSE This design was inspired by the geometric roses of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the Scottish artist and designer. It can be used singly or grouped as here in a composition for a row of windows. Seen here in natural Irish linen with wine, dark green and antique gold motifs. We used Mackintosh Rose here on single panel half curtains of one and a half fullness. Half curtains like this are a nice idea for city houses with close-by neighbors as they provide privacy while letting in light. These curtains are finished with a pin-stitched hem and a rod pocket and hung on traditional rods with inside-mount barrel brackets. #201, Mackintosh Rose, 4 1/2 long x 4 3/4 inches wide
SIMPLE ROSE A simpler version of the geometric rose. Use it as a #116, Simple Rose, rose itself, 2 1/2" square

CROCUS This stylized flower motif works best as a border. Worked in shades of teal and loden green with bright tangerine stitched squares, the Crocus is reminiscent of Gustav Klimt. Crocus, #106, 3 3/8 inches wide x 5 inches high
